1. Collection and Processing of Personal Data (KVKK / Law No. 6698)

In accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), the AALMUN 2026 Organizing Committee acts as the "Data Controller". By registering, you give your explicit consent to the collection and processing of your personal data—including but not limited to your full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and educational institution. This data is collected strictly for executing committee/delegation assignments, evaluating applications, and maintaining official communications throughout the conference, and will only be retained for the period necessitated by these purposes.

2. Confidentiality and Data Security

All information submitted through the registration form and motivation letters is strictly confidential. In accordance with Article 12 of the KVKK, your personal data will not be shared, sold, or distributed to any unauthorized third parties. The AALMUN 2026 organization takes all necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure the appropriate level of security to prevent unlawful processing of or access to your personal data.

3. Committee and Delegation Allocations

The AALMUN 2026 Organizing Committee reserves the sole right to allocate, assign, or reassign delegations and committees based on organizational capacity, the quality of your motivation letter, and prior MUN experience. All allocation decisions are final and binding.

4. Code of Conduct and Participation Rules

Participants must maintain diplomatic courtesy, respect, and academic integrity throughout the conference. Any form of harassment, plagiarism, or behavior violating the rules of procedure will result in immediate termination of attendance and revocation of all participation rights without exception.

5. Media, Photography, and Video Consent (Explicit Consent)

During the conference, authorized media teams will take photographs, videos, and audio recordings. Under the scope of KVKK, by registering, you grant your explicit consent (Açık Rıza) for your visual and audio data to be captured, stored, and published on the official AALMUN 2026 website, social media channels, and digital archives for promotional purposes.

6. Verification and Data Subject Rights

By checking the "I agree" box on the registration form, you legally declare that all provided information is accurate. Furthermore, you acknowledge that you have read this Clarification Text (Aydınlatma Metni) and are aware of your rights as a data subject under Article 11 of the KVKK (including the rights to request information, correct, update, or delete your personal data by contacting the Data Controller).
